Consider those communities that are thriving or doing well despite the pandemic. It’s noticeable that significant investment and changes are being made in these thriving communities. So you live in one such community? Consider sharing what you’re community is doing that works with others. For those communities struggling and that are unable to cope sufficiently on their own should consider partnering with a neighboring community or communities. Share your strengths and resources. This could benefit far more people than when you struggle in silence all alone.
It’s often said that there’s strength in numbers. Increase your strength by increasing your numbers. More resources being about greater opportunity for citizens to be successful and it tends to decrease undesirable behaviors including crimes due to lack of resources on a local level. Black families have dealt with struggle for decades. Learn to pool your resources and growth communal wealth to assure ongoing and sustainable activities in your black community. The investment is well worth it.
